Dog Star Survival was established by Paul Tattersdill, a Level 4 Bushcraft, Survival and Wilderness Living Skills Instructor.
Paul served for 9 years in the Royal Navy as a Radio Operator and was lucky enough to travel all over the world during that time experiencing environments that varied from the cold of the Arctic to the heat of the Dessert which fuelled an already existing interest and love of being in the outdoors.
Paul has an enthusiasm for passing on these skills in an engaging and easy going manner that makes them accessible to a wide client base that can range from military personnel to corporate groups and younger people including school and scout groups.

We believe that spending time outside is good for the mind, body, and spirit, and we want to make it easy for everyone to experience the benefits of nature and being comfortable and safe outdoors.
Dog Star Survival provides a range of services that help individuals and organizations develop the skills and acquire the wherewithal necessary to survive in the wilderness.
Our services include wilderness survival training, bushcraft courses, and outdoor skills workshops.
